Endangered presents the work of Jonathan Vizcuña who conveys both the wonder and fragility of life on Earth through visuals projected on the sculptures aligned with organic audio effects to create a tridimensional experience. Inspired by classic animal trophies but informed by Postmodern art and geometric shapes; his work with paper sculptures is eco-friendly art created using a complex polygon structure to create minimalistic, cubic renditions of animal busts. Spanning two hundred years, the exhibition reflects the vital relationship between art and natural science. It also highlights art’s pivotal contribution to the legacy of nature conservation, which is now threatened. The artist’s message is more important than ever.
