The Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum, celebrating its 70th year in 2024, is a group of teacher musicians whose mission statement is, “To encourage an exchange of ideas and teaching problems and to create a love and understanding of the music we teach in making useful and creative citizens.” We are thrilled to join Charlotte Center City Partners and Charlotte SHOUT! in providing music and musical experiences in the Pianodrome again this year!

Teachers will present professional and amateur musicians of all ages in recitals, interactive music experiences, and even piano parts scavenger hunts! Join us at the Pianodrome in Uptown Charlotte during Charlotte SHOUT!

Pianodrome was conceived and designed by Tim Vincent-Smith. Pianodrome affiliates traveled to Charlotte from Scotland last year to build and install the structure along with local workers. This music/art piece is the only Pianodrome in the USA and the first international build. Don’t miss it!
