The Nouveau Sud circus project, Charlotte's own Contemporary Circus Company is taking this moment in time to celebrate all of our people and our diverse communities. As an ensemble, we live through the in and outs of what it means to be a citizen of Charlotte- Our joys, struggles and collective dreams. To that, we add the understanding of the grounds in which we stand on, the people that helped build this city and all of our communities that call Charlotte home and hope to thrive within. We stand on the shoulders of all of our Ancestors, as we look forward to a bright, inclusive and compassionate future. This is our homage to all our people, and all of our communities- past, present and future.
