Burnt Reeds
Burnt Reeds is a reed quintet composed of professional musicians from the Charlotte region. A frequent performer on the Providence Chamber Music Series, members of this ensemble hold positions in regional orchestras, universities, pit orchestras and in the nonprofit sector. Performing and expanding the literature (through commissions of composers of different styles and backgrounds) for this unique instrumentation is paramount to the group’s formation and vision.
