Whether it’s playing a round of nine on The Queen’s Greens minigolf course (FORE!), catching an outside pop-up concert at Cafe 400, or grabbing food for four at the food trucks stationed at the Wells Fargo Plaza, Zone 4 is the destination for a full belly … and belly laughs.

With lots and lots of outdoor seating, Zone 4 is located between Luminous Lane in Zone 2 and the art installations, music, and museums in Zone 5. That makes it the ideal place to stop, have a bite and plan out the next stage of your SHOUT! adventure.

CAN’T-MISS ACTIVITIES

Here are a few of Zone 4 faves. Find a full schedule of SHOUT! events here. [PRO TIP: Use the Categories and Venues dropdowns to narrow your search.]

Beautiful during the day ... exquisite at night. This incredibly detailed and hyper-intricate 10’ x 10’ laser cut sculpture by Eddie Bueno is on display on the Wells Fargo Plaza every day with evening light shows after dark on the weekends. Do. Not. Miss.

A SHOUT! favorite is back on the Wells Fargo Plaza. Grab a club and a ball and play nine-holes of minigolf. Each hole features an artistic “obstacle” created by a local creative using upcycled materials. (Parents, this is a great place for kids to have fun and expend a little youthful energy.)

There’s so much to get you excited at SHOUT!, but the Cathedral of Revelry, created by the Studio Cultivate team responsible for “Tweet Street” just a block away in Zone 2, invites you to find a meditative moment as you enter this work and are immersed in a world of light and refracted colors.

Located on the patio at 400 S. Tryon St., Cafe 400 will be THE place to take an evening break with live, local music from 5 to 9PM Tuesday through Friday and throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays. Grab a bite and a refreshment from an Uptown restaurant or the food trucks at the Wells Fargo Plaza and head here!

After a visit to SHOUT!, we know you’ll be ready to explore more of what Uptown and the rest of the City have to offer. Stop by the Information Station on the Wells Fargo Plaza to ask for suggestions from an expert from the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority.

Explore the history of the Charlotte region through installations and exhibits that will deepen your understanding of contemporary issues relevant to the Queen City and the world around us.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Latta Arcade and Brevard Court are absolute gems in Uptown Charlotte. Built in 1914 and opened in 1915, the two-level art deco arcade features retail shops, restaurants and offices under a skylit roof that bathes the indoor concourse in natural light. Open weekdays only.

  • Lots of Restaurants

Zone 4 offers tempting options for all palates and price points. (Check the hours first, as some are only open weekdays):
