Event Details

Affinity is an immersive interactive light and sound installation inspired by the human brain. Each light globe represented a neuron and connection in the brain. When people touche the light globe the colour changes, the more people that interact the further their light travels throughout the sculpture. Affinity features 62 different colour combinations and 112 points of interaction and best experienced at night.

The @eatblkcharlotte food and cultural festival returns next Saturday, June 10 at SHOUT! Venue: Victoria Yards🎉 DETAILS: About 15 Black-owned food trucks will participate in the festival, which will have activities for kids and a live DJ. - From June 2-10, 25 local Black-owned restaurants, like @cuzzoscuisine, @romeosveganburgers, @weatheredsoulscIt and @urbansweetsco, to name a few, will offer weeklong deals leading up to the festival. • DETAILS: The festival will take place at @victoriayardscit and @themarketat7thst in @uptown.clt from 2-7pm. 🎟️TICKETS: General admission is $10. AVENGERS ASSEMBLE! @discoveryplacescience opened their newest exhibition this week and it does NOT disappoint! 🦹‍♀️ This exhibition is perfect for the whole family. 🎉 Showcasing genuine Academy Award-winning movie costumes, lifelike photo opportunities, and original comic art that allows you to observe every detail, including the white out marks.🦸‍♂️ FUN FACT: When you look closely you’ll see the Black Panther costume has Wakanda’s language stitched into the seams.🕵️🕵️‍♀️ The exhibit is open now until September 4th.
