Piano Music at the Movies

Featuring beloved film music performed by students from Dr. Bomi Tunstall’s piano studio. Piano solos and 8-hands ensembles will present themes from Forrest Gump, The Wizard of Oz, James Bond, and more. Also featured are captivating works of Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Shostakovich also used in films. This recital will be held in a unique amphitheater crafted from 40 recycled pianos housed in one of Charlotte’s most historic churches. The first Pianodrome in the U.S. is right here in Charlotte!
