Sam on Sunday

Sam on Sunday is an ongoing series hosted by Time Sawyer’s Sam Tayloe that brings together diverse members of Charlotte’s music community in collaborative performances. The project started as a weekly livestream during the pandemic but has since grown and flourished in live events at some of Charlotte’s great music venues. 

Sam on Sunday has become a way to reconnect with live music and with friends in an intimate setting. The show always shines a spotlight on songwriting, whether it’s freshly minted songs by local songwriters, or favorite covers. It’s a genre-busting experience where a rapper, a banjo player, a folk singer, a violinist and a blues guitarist might share the stage and create something completely new together. Sam on Sunday is a warm and welcoming celebration of Charlotte’s music scene.
