Jonathan Vizcuña is originally from Venezuela and has been in Greensboro NC since 2012. He is a Sr. Designer with several years of experience in the field of interactive and visual communications. His work is inspired by classic animal trophies but informed by Postmodern art and geometric shapes; his work with paper sculptures is eco-friendly art created using a complex polygon structure to create minimalistic, cubic renditions of animal busts and bodies.
One of my goals besides creating a very unique/original video mapping on top of the sculptures is to create awareness of the problems affecting endangered species and the fact that we have to respect them and take care of them.
