“This ain’t your father’s Rhinestone Cowboy.” Barefoot Saints is a new ecclectic rock trio comprised of Brent Lawrence (guitar and vocals), Alex Welch (bass), and Ryan Friddle (drums). The group came together informally for blues-rock jam sessions in early 2020 and began actively playing in the Charlotte area in the summer of 2022. They are influenced by a variety of music including Motown, R&B, country, and pop which is all tinged with their roots and a blues-rock band.
