Alexis Howard and Dylan Bannister
Alexis Howard is a fine artist based in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Her personal work incorporates photography, fiber arts, and mixed media collage as an exploration of tenderness, softness, and comfort. She received her B.F.A. at Winthrop University in 2016, and is currently the Studio Manager and Retoucher at woman-owned Salt Paper Studio. When she isn’t photographing her friends or watching clouds, Alexis can be found weaving on her 1970’s floor loom or exploring new materials for 2D and 3D artworks in her home studio.
Dylan Bannister is a visual artist whose multi-disciplinary works are based in memory, nostalgia, and antiquated tech. He maintains a studio practice in Rock Hill, SC, where he engages with the town’s growing arts community. After earning his B.F.A. from Winthrop University in 2016, he then taught at his alma-mater as an Adjunct Instructor of Fine Arts for two years. Dylan has exhibited throughout the southeast, and has provided assistance to other professional artists, having organized and curated exhibitions, designed web-based galleries, and managed studio spaces.
