Her education in both the East and West greatly impacted her art and her life. She spreads small units on the panel/wall in a rhythmical variation to complete her wall sculptures. She also likes to capture the essence of everyday moments in her small sculptures, spotlighting the things often overlooked. She takes materials that might have been forgotten or discarded and gives them a new way back in her art. Lee focuses on reminding us that even the little things in life have their own value and can work together in harmony. Through her art, Lee tries to tell us the power of ordinary things when they come.
